Revision is an important part of writing … some would say it is the most important part. I thought others might find it interesting to see a real manuscript marked up with the red pen. So I scanned in part of my manuscript that Sherry Ramsey edited for me. Most of the pages below are of the original manuscript, but the last four pages are specific comments added during the editing process.
Please note that prior to this edit I considered the work to be fairly well polished. I had already revised these words at least two or three times and in places perhaps ten times or more.
